Model SPB: Die-Formed Steel Pressure Blower

Cincinnati Fan manufactures three models of the Model SPB Die-Formed Pressure Blower. All models are standard with rugged die formed steel housings.

Multiple wheel and inlet sizes are available on all models to provide extensive performance ratings. Available in both direct and belt driven arrangements.

PERFORMANCE RANGE:

• Capacities up to 4,075 CFM and 18″ SPWG
• Standard construction, air stream temperatures up to 150˚F (66˚C)
• Optional high-temperature construction to 400˚F (204˚C)

Features

The Model SPB, 14-gauge, die formed steel housing is heavier duty than most fabricated steel blower housings in this size range.
Round inlets and discharges easily connect to standard duct or pipe sizes with slip connections or flanges. Also allows for easy flexible hose connections.
Blower housings are black, baked enamel, powder coated inside and out for a tough, weather resistant finish.
All models available with different wheel and inlet sizes to produce forty-eight lines of compact, cost efficient, direct drive performance ratings.
Arrangement 8 units come standard with shaft/coupling guards.
Arrangement 9 units come standard with belt guards.

Benefits

More Rugged: The 14-gauge steel housing with the baked on powder coating is more heavy-duty than most blowers in this size range. Will take more wear in abrasive material handling applications.
Spark Resistant: Model SPB Blowers with standard aluminum wheels and the addition of an aluminum rubbing ring are AMCA Type B spark resistant. (If you need AMCA Type A spark resistance, see Model PB Pressure Blowers.) Less expensive than the competition.
Easy Pipe or Duct Connections: Model SPB Blowers have round inlets and discharges, so a connection to duct or pipe is easily made with slip connections or flanges. Also allows for easy flexible hose connections. Does not require special square-to-round transitions.
Aesthetically Attractive: The appearance of the stamped steel SPB housing is a plus for industrial equipment designers that place value on a rugged yet smooth design. Very appealing to OEM designers.
