Standard centrifugal fans move air through a housing designed around a single discharge direction. When the system design requires air to be discharged in multiple directions — or when a ductless plenum arrangement is the only configuration that fits — a conventional fan housing creates more problems than it solves.
Plug fans eliminate the housing discharge constraint. The wheel is mounted without a scroll housing, discharging air radially into a surrounding plenum or enclosure. The result is a fan that integrates into the system without dictating duct orientation.
